What you give us

The quote form on this site asks for your name, phone number, email address, and service address, along with what you would like cleaned: the number of rooms, couches, chairs, mattresses, or area rugs. Only the name, phone, and email are required; everything else is optional and only helps us quote accurately. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website.

Where it goes

When you submit the quote form, that information is sent directly to ServiceMinder, the customer management system we use to schedule jobs, keep service history, and send appointment confirmations. ServiceMinder stores it on our behalf. If you use the "Schedule Online" link after submitting, you are taken to ServiceMinder's own booking site, which operates under its own terms and privacy practices.

What we use it for

To reply to your quote request, schedule the visit, and carry out the work, contact you about your appointment, take payment at the time of service, and follow up afterward to check you were happy with the result. If you have opted in, we may also send occasional service reminders or offers by email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time by calling or emailing.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your service: a note when your technician is on the way, an answer when you text us back, or word that your rugs are ready to collect. These are messages about work you have arranged with us, never offers you did not ask for. How often you hear from us depends on your job, and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any text and we will stop messaging that number right away. Reply HELP for help. Our texts come from (616) 275-5940. To reach a person, call the office at (616) 312-1900.

We do not share your mobile number, or your agreement to receive texts, with anyone else for their own marketing. It stays with KODA and the providers who run our scheduling and messaging for us.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only parties who see it are KODA staff and the service providers who operate this website and our booking system on our behalf.

Third-party content on this site

A few things on these pages are loaded from other companies, and those companies may receive your IP address and basic browser information as a result: Google Fonts (typefaces), Google Maps (the map showing our shop on the home and contact pages), and Unsplash and Pexels (photography). Our site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs.

Analytics

We are in the process of adding Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. When it is switched on, it will collect anonymized usage data such as pages viewed and rough geographic region, never names or contact details. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The embedded Google Map may set cookies, and Google Analytics will set its own once enabled. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as we need them for accounting, warranty, and legal purposes. If you would like your information removed, contact us and we will delete whatever we are not required to retain.

Your choices

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging cleaning services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
