Carpet Cleaning in South Haven

South Haven is the south end of our lakeshore run, and it is a seasonal town — which changes the work. A lot of what we clean here is a cottage or a rental between guests, on a schedule that does not move, with beach sand in everything.

South Haven Questions, Answered

What people in and around South Haven ask us most.

Can you clean between rental guests?

Yes, and it is worth booking it early in the season rather than the week you need it — summer Saturdays along the lakeshore fill up. Give us your changeover window and we will be honest about whether the floor will be dry before the next guests walk in.

The cottage sits empty part of the year. Does that cause problems?

It can. A closed-up house holds humidity, and anything already in the carpet — sand, spills, pet accidents from last season — has months to settle in and smell. Cleaning at the end of the season rather than the start of the next one is usually the better call.

We get sand everywhere. Is there any point cleaning mid-summer?

There is, because sand is not just cosmetic. Left in the carpet it acts like sandpaper underfoot and genuinely shortens the life of the floor. Getting it out mid-season is maintenance, not vanity.

How long does carpet take to dry?

Most carpet is dry in 6–12 hours. Our truck-mounted extraction pulls far more moisture out than a rental machine does, which is the whole reason the floor is usable the same evening instead of the next day.

What does it cost?

It depends on the rooms, the fibre and what is actually wrong with the floor, so we quote it honestly rather than posting a number that turns out not to apply to your house. Call (616) 312-1900 and we will walk through it with you.
